The ground stop was reported around 7 p.m. on Nov. 28 and was lifted just before 8 p.m.

According to a spokesperson with the Philadelphia Police Department, the ground stoppage was issued because of a situation on a plane.

Police said that it was cleared and the plane was able to takeoff.

Flights coming into PHL were grounded with departing flights facing delays of at least 15 minutes, the FAA said.
