SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
Friday marked another day of morning fog for Northern California as temperatures remain below average for this time of year.
Meteorologist Ophelia Young said visibility may be impacted in some spots of the Sacramento Valley and the Foothills. By the afternoon, valley skies are likely to be mostly gray, with more sunshine at upper elevations in the Foothills and the Sierra.
Friday's forecast high for downtown Sacramento is 52 degrees. The average for this time of year is 60 degrees.
A north breeze on Sunday may help in reducing morning fog for next week. Young said high pressure building off the West Coast will help temperatures warm slightly.
Looking ahead to possible wet weather, Young said there may be chances of Sierra precipitation, but the seven-day forecast
