WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio —

One person died Friday afternoon after a crash in Warren County.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a man was driving a box truck north on Jeffrey Road, when he went off the right side of the road, overcorrected and then went off the left side of road before hitting an embankment.

OSHP said the man died at the scene of the crash. OSHP identified the man who died as Donald C. Dakin, 74, from Cincinnati.

The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Lebanon Post.
