The Mega Millions jackpot rose to $80 million for the drawing on Friday, Nov. 28, after no one matched all the winning numbers in the drawing on Tuesday, Nov. 25 .

If someone matches all six numbers, they will have the option of a one-time cash payment of $36.9 million.

The most recent winner on Nov. 14 took home a $983 million jackpot, which was the fifth different Mega Millions winner in 2025. The other four winners this year bought their winning tickets in Virginia , Ohio , Illinois , and Arizona , taking home a combined jackpot of more than $900 million.
