GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - One man has been arrested following a report of an attempted kidnapping involving two 12-year-old girls on Burnett Road near New Jesup Highway.

On Thanksgiving day, officers from Glynn County Police Department were dispatched after receiving a call reporting that the two minors had been approached by an adult male who attempted to grab their arms and get the girls to go with him.

Officers quickly located the suspect who was still in the area and detained him.

Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division responded, interviewed witnesses and the suspect, gathered evidence, and continued the investigation.

Evert Amaya Luna, 21, was then arrested and charged with two counts of Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes.

This investigation remains ongoing.
