Texas A&M QB Marcel Reed leaves Texas game in 1st quarter with an injury but returns for Aggies

A worst-case scenario for Texas A&M fans unfolded late in the first quarter of Friday night's "Lone Star Showdown" against Texas.

Late in the first quarter, with the Aggies on the move, quarterback Marcel Reed - a Heisman Trophy contender - was shaken up after taking a keeper to the Longhorns' 15-yard line. He appeared to stumble while running with the ball, and was down on the turf for several minutes while being tended to by A&M's medical staff.
