One of Mike Brown’s more significant plans changed in a hurry.
Entering the season, how Brown planned on using Josh Hart represented one of the bigger changes he had in mind.
Hart started all 77 regular season games he played in last year under Brown’s predecessor, Tom Thibodeau, as well as the Knicks’ first 14 playoff games before coming off the bench for the last four games in the Eastern Conference finals.
Hart is a ball of energy, and Brown had wanted to best utilize that in shorter spurts , which he hoped would better limit some of the volatility that comes with Hart’s playstyle.
