CLEVELAND — Twelve different Cleveland State players made the scoring sheet as the Vikings cruised to an 80-41 victory over Valparaiso in the second leg of the CSU Invitational Friday afternoon at Woodling Gym.

Colbi Maples played just 18 minutes but scored 12 points, while Laurel Rockwood led Cleveland State (6-1) with 14 off the bench. The Vikes' reserves combined to score 47 on the day, getting valuable playing time thanks to a 44-15 halftime advantage.

The Beacons (0-7) took an early 4-2 lead before withering away, shooting just 30.8% from the field and turning the ball over 33 times. Fiona Connolly had 14 points for Valpo.
