BRISTOL, Conn. (WFSB) - Holiday Lights is back at Lake Compounce for its final year with hundreds of thousands of bright lights.

This winter celebration offers many ways for families to begin celebrating the holiday season.

“They went all out for this,” said Colin Fawley from New Jersey.

“It’s a family tradition. It’s time spend with the people you love most, doing fun things that get you in the spirit of the holidays,” said Meg Forno, Lake Compounce marketing director.

Those on Santa’s nice list can write a letter to ask for their dream gifts.

Several kids asked for legos, nerf guns, finger skateboards, and even a dog backpack.

It’s a bittersweet holiday season at Lake Compounce at they light the park up for the 13th and final time.
