SALISBURY — Livingstone’s men’s basketball team outscored Allen 93-84 in a fast-paced non-conference game played on Tuesday in New Trent Gym.

Allen (1-3) led by one at halftime.

Livingstone (3-2) had an average shooting night and Allen battled on the boards, but the Blue Bears took better care of the basketball. A 21-11 edge in turnovers made the difference.

James Nipper scored 21 for the Blue Bears. Omarion Brodrick had 17 points and 10 rebounds. Kenneth Tyree scored 13. Erick Coffey and Justin Baxter scored 10 each.

Livingstone plays at Virginia Union on Saturday afternoon.
