HOMOSASSA, Fla. — She wanted to connect and get up close to a country music star. But a fan in Homosassa says she lost hundreds of dollars on a ticket for a celebrity meet-and-greet. Turns out, she's not alone.
Roxanne Santos thought she was going to get to meet Cooper Alan at a meet-and-greet. It all started after she got a message, saying, "Hey sweetheart, it's Cooper Alan.” It had a photo of Cooper Alan holding a sign that says, “Roxanne, it's Cooper Alan.”
She says she received the messages on the private messaging app Zangi . She was thrilled.
“The sign got me. When I saw the sign, 'Hi Roxanne, this is Cooper Alan,' that drew me right in,” Santos said. “Oh my goodness, it's Cooper Alan, and he's writing to me. I'm 67, and a young man's writing to me and getting attention, and I'
