AUSTIN, Texas — The University of Texas Longhorns snapped Texas A&M's perfect season in a historic rivalry game between the two storied programs .
The Longhorns defeated the Aggies 27-17 in a heated game in Austin.
A&M came into the game ranked No. 3 in the nation with a flawless 11-0 record on the line, facing the No. 16 ranked Longhorns, who held an 8-3 record going into the game.
The game marked the 120th meeting matchup between A&M and UT, with the rivals going head to head at UT's Darrell K Royal Texas Memorial Stadium.
Both teams struggled to get a drive going early on, until A&M was able to make a push into Longhorn territory towards the end of the first quarter.
