CHEYENNE — Cheyenne City Council members on Monday approved a revised water service agreement for the planned CK Gold Mine with new remediation requirements, and backed a grant application to support the land purchase for a 184-unit affordable housing community.
Also on the agenda was a resolution to potentially loosen redevelopment terms and the demolition date for the Historic Pumphouse, but it was referred to the Finance Committee.
CK Gold Mine outside water use agreement
City Council members approved a new outside user water service agreement between the Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities and Wyoming King Gold Mining Company that contains a remediation clause.
The new agreement, which will be in effect until Jan. 1, 2040, allows officials with the planned CK Gold Mine 20 miles west
