COLUMBUS, Ohio — Some families are learning that their loved ones' final resting places may not be forever.
The nearly 180-year-old Green Lawn Cemetery is in the process of relocating some graves that sit on a storm sewer easement.
Shana Edwards and her family visit the graves to remember loved ones lost. Now some of her relatives' final resting places will be moved.
"Oh, it's tragic. It's like reliving it all over again," Edwards said.
Of the more than 160,000 people interred at the cemetery, about 20 graves lie on the easement, Green Lawn Cemetery Association Executive Director Randy Rogers said. The cemetery is working to move them to new plots nearby.
