FRIDAY NIGHT UPDATE: Get ready for a cold weekend. Probably our first real round of arctic air this season. The big story will be the cold & wind chills. Let's talk about Saturday. It will be "warmer" on Saturday morning then much colder in the afternoon. Wind chills on Saturday afternoon will be in the teens & 20s.
In terms of moisture, it's mainly shower chances for Central KS. Some of extreme Northern KS may see some snow. If we do get snow, it'll likely fall in a localized band near the arctic front. It all comes down to the depth of the cold air; it's colder up North, thus the slightly better snow chances. The overall track of the Low places the best snow chances well to our North. Moisture will likely exit KAKEland by early to mid-afternoon on Saturday.
