The city of Santa Fe is one of 16 communities nationwide selected to participate in the Housing Supply Accelerator Challenge.
A project of the National League of Cities and the American Planning Association, the program "is designed to accelerate the implementation of proven and innovative housing strategies and expand the supply of housing in communities across the country," according to a news release.
The initiative is intended to identify local solutions to housing supply challenges. The participating municipalities will receive access to technical assistance, coaching from housing supply experts and other resources.
Santa Fe Affordable Housing Director Faviola Chavez said in a statement the city is honored by the selection.
