All cat owners have been warned whether you're new or experienced

As temperatures drop, it’s important to make sure your cat stays warm and comfortable. In a warning to all cat owners, Pets at Home has urged people to make sure their feline friends are warm and have access to a variety of things that can help them, whether they are an indoor cat or more of an outdoor explorer .

The pet experts warned that temperatures below 7C are considered "too cold for cats ." Prolonged exposure to this level of cold puts them at risk of hypothermia. After all, we wouldn't want to be this cold, so why should they?

It also noted that while most cats will instinctively seek warmth when the weather turns less than ideal, owners should still ensure they are safe as they could get frostbite .
