Millions of UK workers are set for a pay boost next year, with an average annual increase of around £900. The Budget announcement on Wednesday, November 26, revealed that the National Living Wage would see a rise in 2026.
The National Living Wage will climb from £12.21 to £12.71 per hour from April for those over the age of 21, benefiting 2.4 million workers. The minimum wage for individuals aged 18-20 will also see an 8.5% increase to £10.85 per hour.
