MEDINA, Ohio – A consultant hired to work with the city on restoration of the former Sunoco property at 426 W. Liberty St. is in the process of hiring a contractor to finish up necessary work on the site.
“We did receive a notice last week from the state that no further action is needed regarding the waste oil tank that Campbell Oil previously removed from the site, so that is great news,” Economic Development Director Kimberly Marshall said Nov. 24. “Now that both notices of no further action required have come in, we need to keep moving forward with site restoration.”
