The Coachella Valley Firebirds continued their hot play Friday night, and so did Firebirds forward Ben Meyers.

Meyers scored two goals, one on a one-timer and one unassisted on a breakaway, to help the Firebirds to a 5-0 win on the road against the San Diego Gulls. The goals were the fifth and sixth of the year for Meyers, who also scored goal in each of the Firebirds' last two games.
