FISHERS, Ind. — Nick Deakin-Poot scored 33 seconds into overtime to give the Fort Wayne Komets a come-from-behind win over the Indy Fuel Friday night at the Fishers Event Center.

Deakin-Poot took a long pass from Jalen Smereck, who was set up behind the Komets' goal line, and beat Owen Flores on a breakaway with the only shot in overtime to win the game for Fort Wayne.

The Fuel scored the first two goals of the game, taking a 1-0 lead on a Tyler Kobryn tally from Jadon Joseph and Connor Joyce three minutes into the game. Later in the first, with Indy's Sahil Panwar in the box for high-sticking, Jesse Tucker scored a short-handed goal from Joseph and Tyson Feist for a two-goal lead.
