Ava Fischer

MARQUETTE — The Upper Peninsula Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association released its All-U.P. volleyball awards, naming Ava Fischer of Forest Park as Miss Volleyball.

Fischer was also selected as Offensive Player of the Year in Division 4.

Team of the Year went to Kingsford in Divisions 1-3 and Forest Park in Division 4.

Joining Fischer on the All-U.P. Dream Team was Forest Park teammate Elsie Williams.

Kingsford’s Cassie Olson was named to the All-U.P. First Team in Divisions 1-3. Second Team selections included Lace Shamion of West Iron County as well as Mylee Kreider, Mckynzee Kreider and Mya Brunswick of Kingsford.
