NIAGARA, Wis. — My husband and I recently spent five evenings watching the PBS special about the American Revolution. It was the most interesting 10 hours of programming we have seen in a long time and could not have been timed better considering the state of our world at present. Written by Ken Burns over the course of 10 years of research, it teaches us about the most significant event in the life of our nation as we have never before been taught.
