Black Friday may have passed, but holiday shoppers still have a chance to shop some of the biggest deals of the year on Cyber Monday.

Thanks to a love for online shopping, sales once reserved for a single day or the weekend after Thanksgiving have expanded not only into the proper Cyber Monday holiday, but both before and after. In some cases, sales last for an entire "Cyber Week," giving consumers even more chances to shop.

Whether you're looking to upgrade your own tech, get toys and games to gift the kids in your life, add some chef-worthy tools to your kitchen or finally splurge on that beauty product or trendy fashion piece, Cyber Monday sales at major retailers like Amazon, Target and Best Buy give shoppers yet another chance to stock up on everything they'll need for the holidays.

When is Cyber Monday 2025?

Cyber Monday takes place on the first Monday after Thanksgiving. This year, it falls on Monday, Dec. 1

Thanksgiving is on Thursday, Nov. 27, this year, followed by Black Friday on Friday, Nov. 28.

What is Cyber Monday?

Cyber Monday is one of the biggest sales events of the year. It originated as something of a response or complement to Black Friday, eventually becoming equally as lucrative for retailers.

The official term was coined by the National Retail Federation in 2005, according to Encyclopedia Britannica. The organization noticed an influx in online shopping on the Monday after Thanksgiving as people returned to work and used their, at the time, faster internet connections in the office versus at home to start on their holiday lists.

Like with Black Friday, retailers cashed in on this by making it a full-fledged sales event. As its name suggests, Cyber Monday is generally associated with online sales versus Black Friday's traditionally brick-and-mortar deals, but as time has passed, both shopping holidays now tend to offer both digital and in-store options.

When do Cyber Monday sales start?

Like Black Friday, which has turned into something more akin to "Black November," thanks to sales starting earlier and earlier, Cyber Monday has expanded its domain past a single day.

The biggest deals from retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, Target and Walmart are often reserved for Cyber Monday itself, but are also often available for at least two days, if not a full "Cyber Week."

When does Cyber Monday start on Amazon?

Amazon's Cyber Monday event is three days long, beginning on Saturday, Nov. 29 and running through Monday, Dec. 1. As usual, the sales run the gamut, including up to 50% off tech from JBL, Canon and Bose audio, 40% off select floorcare from BISSELL, iRobot and Dyson and up to 50% off kichen essentials from Ninja, Bentgo, Vitamix, Staub, and Nespresso.

Up to 40% off toys from brands like Little Tykes, Play-Doh, NERF, Hasbro Gaming, Fisher-Price and American Girl, along with up to 30% off makeup favorites from NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP, Milk Makeup, and Tarte, make for easy holiday gift shopping.

When does Cyber Monday start at Best Buy?

Best Buy's Cyber Monday deals run from Sunday, Nov. 30, through Monday, Dec. 1.

Sneak peeks show up to 63% off Lenovo and HP Chromebooks, up to 24% off AirPods and MacBooks and up to 55% off TCL and Samsung televisions.

My Best Buy Rewards members can get additional deals and offers and earn points while holiday shopping. The retailer also has a Best Buy Holiday Price Match Guarantee that allows customers to get a price match if Best Buy drops the price of an item during the holiday season.

When does Cyber Monday start at Target?

Target's Cyber Monday event begins on Sunday, Nov. 30 and will last through Monday, Dec. 1. Some sales extend into the rest of the week, as well.

Deals include up to 50% off clothing and shoes, including Champion, Crocs, Lands’ End, Cat & Jack, UniversalThread, Wild Fable and A New Day, up to 50% off tech, including Bose, Sony, Beats and Meta, up to $200 off on select Apple devices and up to 50% off small appliances and cookware, plus an extra 15% off select items, including Ninja and Cuisinart.

When does Cyber Monday start at Walmart?

Walmart’s Cyber Monday sale is Dec. 1, 2025, online only. Walmart+ members get early access on Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. ET.

Deal previews include furniture like Beautiful Drew by Drew Barrymore for 29% off, leisure and sport sales like Callaway Men’s 12-piece Golf Club Set for 28% off, toy discounts like a Donner Kids Electric Drums for 38% off, home and tools deals like the Greenworks 24v Brushless 4 Tool Combo Kit for 44% off and jewlery, watches and accesories like Movado Men’s Bold Large Sunray Dial Analog Quartz for 33% off.

When does Cyber Monday start at Macy's?

Macy’s Cyber Monday sale is online only and runs from Sunday, Nov. 30 to Monday, Dec. 1.

Shoppers will find deals across apparel, home, beauty, jewelry and accessories. Sales include 60-70% off select bedding from Charter Club, Oake and more, 60% off select bath towels, robes and rugs from Lauren Ralph, 50-60% off men's coats and jackets, 40% off women's Levi's, 40-50% off fragrances and 50-60% off handbags, wallets and women's shoes.

When does Cyber Monday start at Kohl's?

Kohl's Cyber Monday runs from Sunday, Nov. 30, through Monday, Dec. 1.

Shoppers can expect deals across departments, including up to 40% off Skechers shoes and activewear, 50% off women’s and juniors’ sweaters, 70% off bedding sets, memory foam pillows and mattress toppers and 40% off kitchen appliances from Ninja, KitchenAid, and Cuisinart.

To sweeten the deal, shoppers can take an extra 20% off qualifying purchases with a coupon and earn $15 in Kohl’s Cash for every $50 spent.

When does Cyber Monday start at Ulta?

Ulta’s Cyber Monday sale starts Sunday, Nov. 30, at noon CT (1 p.m. ET) and runs through Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 2 a.m. CT (3 a.m. ET).

Ulta will share more details at ulta.com/cybermonday beginning on Nov. 30.

When does Cyber Monday start at Sephora?

Beauty competitor Sephora is opting for a full Cyber Week (or two) in 2025, starting on Monday, Nov. 24, with early access beginning on the app on Saturday, Nov. 22.

Each day through Thursday, Dec. 4, will feature 30% off deals for different brands, all online. Additional deals will be available through Monday, Dec. 1, like 50% off select beauty products and 50% off fragrances. Beauty Insiders can also get free gifts with some purchases, such as a free sample bag and 4x points on fragrances.
