A mum has shared how to toddler-proofed her Christmas tree without having to surround it with a playpen, large boxes or putting it on a high table to keep it out of reach

This is the second festive season with my now 22-month-old daughter and even though she was crawling and pulling herself up on the furniture last year, it was easy to block her from reaching the Christmas tree.
