A mum has described how her son's life has been 'flipped upside down' since he was mauled by a dangerous dog. Kobie Pollard, 16, was attacked by the dog, a Perro de Presa Canario, in July last year. He was walking on a street to visit his grandma when the dog jumped on top of a fence from a garden, Yorkshire Live reports.
It went for Kobie’s face but he put his hands in front of his face to protect himself. So, it grabbed a hold of his hand with its teeth and attempted to pull him into the garden.
Kobie, then 15, managed to pull himself free but his hand was left mangled. His mum Sarah said: "His tendon was hanging out of his hand. The bone on his ringer finger is completely crushed. He goes to hospital nearly every two weeks to see a hand specialist.”
