A teen is facing the prospect of having his finger amputated after being savagely attacked by a dangerous dog. Kobie Pollard's life has been thrown into chaos as the potential loss of his finger could severely impact his college engineering course.
The incident occurred around 3.30pm on 17 July, 2024, on Tenth Avenue, Windybank estate, in Cleckheaton, Yorkshire. The dog's owner, Jemma Hampton, was subsequently arrested and fined at Kirklees Magistrates' Court on 12 May this year. She was ordered to pay £1,400 to Kobie in £40 monthly instalments.
