GATES MILLS, Ohio -- On Wednesday (Nov. 26), the first morning of Gilmour Academy’s Thanksgiving break, students, faculty, alumni and friends gathered to distribute more than 320 meals to local families as part of the school’s 32 nd annual Brother Richard Keller Thanksgiving Food Drive.
Keller was a longtime Gilmour staff member and food drive volunteer, which led to the drive being named in his memory.
Students and faculty members at the Lower, Middle and Upper Schools have been collecting food for the drive for the past few weeks and the donations were used to fill baskets with complete Thanksgiving dinners.
At 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, the baskets were loaded into cars for home delivery by members of the Gilmour community. The remaining baskets were loaded on a bus with additional Gilmo
