MORGANTOWN -- Two football teams will take the field at Milan Puskar Stadium on Saturday with two separate motives.

One hopes to play for a conference title, while the other wants to ruin those chances.

Texas Tech, with a win on Saturday in Morgantown, would clinch a spot in the Big 12 Conference title game next Saturday in Arlington, Texas.

West Virginia, however, wants to capture its first victory over an AP top-10 foe since 2014 and head into the offseason on a strong note.

The Mountaineers last took the field on Nov. 15, when they fell short to Arizona State, 25-23, ending a streak of two consecutive wins.

WVU welcomes the Red Raiders to Morgantown at noon on Saturday.
