Customers have been issued a warning from Aldi over one of the supermarket's popular Christmas food snacks, and have been told not to eat it over health fears
Aldi has recalled one of its popular Christmas snacks and told customers not to eat the product due to "health risks".
The supermarket issued the warning over its Dairyfine Salted Caramel Filled Gonks, as they may contain peanuts which are not mentioned on the label. This means the product poses a possible health risk for anyone with a peanut allergy , the Food Standards Agency warned.
Aldi has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall , and the company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to customers. The recall notice relates to the 90g Filled Gon
