Jess Glynne has disclosed the devastating reason why she wasn't able to meet Alex Scott on the bridge following her departure from I'm A Celebrity.

She explained that her mother had suffered "a major stroke and needed urgent brain surgery". Speaking candidly, Jess said: "My woman might be out far earlier than she ever deserved, but l'm so unbelievably proud of her. She didn't get the airtime to show how incredible she really is and trust me, this is only the beginning.
