As freezing temperatures returned to Manchester this week life got even tougher for the people who struggle the most. For those on the streets the physical hardships are obvious but the cold weather will also plunge many thousands across our region, who are only just managing to pay their bills, into financial crisis.

For our Christmas appeal this year the MEN is asking for your help in supporting an incredible charity which tries to offer a desperately-needed safety net to people in our region struggling with poverty.
