WESTFIELD — On Thanksgiving morning, seven teams of dedicated volunteers gathered at the Westfield Senior Center to deliver 135 turkey dinners to older adults in Westfield who are homebound or lack family supports living in the area.

Meals were prepared by the Council On Aging kitchen staff and volunteers. In addition to the meal, each recipient received the gift of an armchair caddie, handmade by the Senior Center’s Piecemakers Quilting Group.
