Teen faces losing his finger after being mauled by dangerous dog View 2 Images

A teenager faces the anxious wait that he may lose his finger after he was mauled by a dog. The attack on Kobie Pollard happened at about 3.30pm on July 17, 2024 and saw the dog owner arrested.

Kobie has been given two options by doctors. To either have his finger amputated or have his bone in his foot put in his hand. He was told the latter option is unlikely.

Kobie, then 15, was attacked by the dog, a Perro de Presa Canario, as he was walking on a street to visit his grandma. The dog jumped on top of a fence, from a garden, YorkshireLive reports.
