Martin Lewis offered his insights on a Budget aspect that 'isn't as bad as it could've been'.The savings expert reviewed everything that could affect you on his MoneySavingExpert (MSE) website, along with a special podcast about the Budget released after Wednesday's announcements.

Amidst this, he highlighted an important upcoming change to cash ISAs starting in 2027. ISAs are tax-efficient savings or investment accounts available in four types: cash ISAs, stocks and shares ISAs, innovative finance ISAs, and lifetime ISAs.

Most savers can currently contribute up to £20,000 annually to one or more ISAs. However, starting from April 6, 2027, this limit will be reduced to £12,000 per year for people under 65 using specifically cash ISAs.
