A Welsh town's popular Christmas parade is set to go ahead while lacking a key part of the festivities. The Cowbridge Christmas parade, due to be held on Sunday, November 30, will not have its usual Christmas lights this year after they were removed to allow "abnormal heavy loads" to pass through the town earlier in the year and are yet to be reinstalled.
However, the lights used for the switch-on outside the town hall will still be fully operational enabling a traditional light switch-on to still take place.
The light wires were initially removed by the Vale of Glamorgan council in order to allow large loads to pass through the town but they have not been reinstated in time. The delay has be
