As Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart prepares to return Monday night from a two-game concussion absence, one big question lingers.

Can he stay on the field?

Considering Dart’s aggressive playing style, that question could be an issue for years to come.

He is coming off his first NFL concussion, suffered Nov. 9 in Chicago. Will that scare result in him adjusting his reckless-at-times running style? And might it impact how many designed runs the Giants call for him?

They will have a new head coach (not Mike Kafka) next season, in the wake of Brian Daboll’s ouster. That coach better have a sound plan for harnessing Dart’s intensity without negatively impacting his play.
