Brits heading for Spain may soon have to wear a face mask again due to the huge surge in flu and Covid cases. Health chiefs will decide on December 3 whether to impose their compulsory use in certain indoor spaces, including hospitals and health centers, and possibly other areas with a large number of people, such as cinemas or theaters.

Spain's Minister of Health, Mónica García, said local communities are committed to following the new measures. She said she hoped councillors of the Popular Party "are not going to put their political interests above the health of the population this year".
