The Los Angeles Lakers secured another 129-119 victory over the Dallas Mavericks in their first meeting of the season on November 27. The Mavericks started well and took the 62-60 halftime lead. However, things went in favour of the Lakers in the third quarter, when they extended their lead and continued to build momentum until the end of the game. LeBron James’ energy on the court was evident.
The game featured Luka Doncic again delivering an outstanding performance with 35 points, following a heated moment with the referee that resulted in a technical foul. Austin Reaves did not step back and remained the top scorer of the night with an excellent 38 points. However, James’ all-around presence and a vital 13-point knock complemented the team’s effort.
James thoroughly enjoyed the game.
