Hammersmith station LIVE: Emergency on Piccadilly Line as cops and medics swarm

Emergency services have swarmed Hammersmith Underground Station in London after reports of a casualty on the track.

Access to the station was closed, according to witnesses, and services on the District Line remain delayed. Transport for London's website says there are "severe delays" on the Piccadilly Line.

Severe delays on the Piccadilly Line

There are severe delays on the Piccadilly Line, TfL's live status page reports.

It states: "SEVERE DELAYS on the rest of the line due to an earlier customer incident. Tickets are being accepted on London Buses, the Elizabeth line, London Overground and South Western Railway via any reasonable route." 11:28 Ella Kipling
