This stunning island favourite spot of the Prince and Princess of Wales. They have visited at least three times as a couple and also later with their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis.
But for William his connection with this island goes back much further having visited as a child with his parents the then Prince Charles and Princess Diana in the 80s. Prince William also made an official visit there last year.
Located 28 miles off the English coast, this island, one of a group of 140 but only five are inhabited, offers “outstandingly beautiful, uncrowded and unspoiled” scenery.
Not surprisingly. given their beauty and proximity to the UK mainland, William and Kate and their family are not the only fans of this place. Around 100,000 visitors flock here every year to enjoy
