A man has been left with serious injuries after being shot twice in Huyton on Friday evening. Emergency services were called to Radway Road at around 10.20pm on November 28 following reports a man had sustained gunshot injuries on the driveway of an address on the street.

It is believed the victim was shot twice in his leg by two men on a Surron bike. The offenders made off in an unknown direction on the electric bike.

Emergency services attended the scene, and the victim was taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

A firearm and an electric bike were later found and recovered by police officers in the area and are currently being forensically examined.
