We're finally here. After a dramatic few weeks filled with rumors, cryptic posts and lots of speculation -- followed by a wild Friday with an Egg Bowl win, a mid-game brawl and a confrontation with a reporter -- we've reached the day on which Lane Kiffin is supposed to inform the world if he's staying to coach Ole Miss or leave for LSU.

So when is this all going to go down? As of publishing this, we don't know. Will it be a Kiffin post on social media? A press conference with reporters in Oxford? These are all great questions. There's been a little reporting yet -- we've updated with the latest, see below -- about what's next.

Here's the latest info:

What time is Lane Kiffin announcing his decision?

As transcribed by On3.com, here's what ESPN's Marty Smith said on Friday:

“I’m told the decision here will come tomorrow, but is expected to come later in the day. Tonight, he’s over in Tupelo at his son Knox’s state semifinal high school football game. So the thought is that meeting will happen later in the day tomorrow and we should have a resolution to this sometime tomorrow evening.”

What has Lane Kiffin said about his decision to stay at Ole Miss or leave for LSU?

He said on Friday after the Egg Bowl win that he had "a lot of praying" to do and that "I feel like I've got to" make this decision on Saturday. Remember, that's what was said in the lengthy statement from Athletic Director Keith Carter: "An announcement on Coach Kiffin's future is expected the Saturday following the game."

He also posted this on X (formerly Twitter):

He retweeted these, too:

Are there any indications Lane Kiffin is leaving for LSU?

There's this reporting from Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio:

We’re told that Kiffin is lining up his coaching staff at LSU. It’s the kind of tidbit that quickly can spread on the coaching-industry grapevine, as folks agree to join someone’s staff — and as they decline the opportunity to do so.

It’s no surprise. If Kiffin is seriously thinking about going, he’ll need to start getting people in place.

That doesn't mean he's actually leaving, though. We'll see.
