EASTMAN, Ga. — A man is in the hospital after an overnight shooting in Eastman, according to Lindsey Wilkes, Special Agent in Charge of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation office in Eastman.

Wilkes says the shooting happened on First Avenue at around 1 a.m. on Saturday.

The victim was shot once and airlifted to a nearby trauma center. Right now he is in critical condition, according to Wilkes.

Wilkes added that no one has been arrested in the case.
