Everything we know about the Met Office's amber weather warning for Wales

An amber warning for heavy rain is now in effect across all of Wales. The alert is severe, advising people to think about changing plans to minimise the risk.

The Met Office has forecast significant, persistent rainfall starting around Monday midnight and lasting until 11pm. The warning was updated on Saturday, November 29, at 12:26pm

The regions affected are: Blaenau Gwent , Bridgend , Caerphilly , Cardiff , Carmarthenshire , Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire , Neath Port Talbot , Newport , Pembrokeshire , Powys, Rhondda Cynon Taf , Swansea , Torfaen , and Vale of Glamorgan
