Crashes are currently causing delays on two busy roads. Dyfed-Powys Police said there has been crash on the 48 between Llanddarog and Carmarthern and that the westbound road is currently closed.

The force also said crashes are causing delays on the A40 between St Clears and Carmarthern.

In relation to the crash on the A48, Dyfed-Powys Police posted on X: "The westbound road is currently closed due to a collision. Please avoid the area and find alternative routes for your journey."

On the A40, the police force posted: "There are currently delays in both directions due to collisions. Please be patient and take an alternative route if possible or plan extra time into your journey." 14:49 Ted Peskett
