Cortland's Annual Gingerbread Walk kicks off Saturday morning, hoping to bring "the most amazing & fun small business Saturday ever," according to a news release.
Small businesses in Cortland have come together to include as many local shops as they can, with each business donating gifts and gift certificates to win throughout the day.
With Santa and Mrs. Claus at Cooper's Cycle and Fitness, there will be photo opportunities, as well as gifts and prizes. There will also be a horse-drawn wagon stopping between the shops to transport people from place to place.
A "punch card" system will help visitors get entered into a drawing by visiting Cortland shops for a chance at the various donated prizes from businesses.
The Annual Gingerbread Walk takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday,
