CASS COUNTY, MI — An Indiana driver crashed on Yankee Street near Wolf Road in Howard Township on Friday, Nov. 28.

The 27-year-old was driving east when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree around 1:30 p.m., per a Cass County Sheriff’s press release, about 3.5 miles east of Niles.

The driver was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.

Drugs and Alcohol are not believed to be a factor in the single-vehicle crash, per the release.
