Even more foam has appeared once again in a Suffolk river after seemingly going away in recent days.
A fresh batch of foam has been seen in the River Gipping at Great Blakenham, near Ipswich.
This is the second time in a week that foam has been seen in the river, with the first sighting of it coming on Monday, November 24.
Jamie Yates, who lives next to the river and can see it on a daily basis, said: "I thought the foam from last week had finished, but this is a fresh batch.
"I saw it on Monday, but it dropped after then.
"It came back on Saturday with a lot more foam.
"It has a chemical smell to it, but a couple of mates fishing it say the fish don’t appear to be affected by it."
