1DOVER, DE – The Dover Police Department is kicking off the holiday season with a community celebration and toy drive to support Toys for Tots Kent County, inviting residents to join in spreading cheer to families in need.

The department announced that its Hometown Holiday Event will take place on December 13, featuring food trucks, music, family activities, and festive entertainment.

Immediately following the parade, officers will host a Toy Drive at 122 W. Loockerman Street, where residents can drop off new, unwrapped toys to benefit local children.
